I get it, you have a blog and want to monetise it, but the thought of being on camera and doing video content just turns you right off. When you have a website with a high domain authority, at least over 20, you can make money by hosting guest posts on your site. You have to disclose them properly as an ad or a guest post. 2. Affiliate marketing

Affiliate marketing is when you sign up to promote a particular shop’s products or services, and by placing their tracking link in your blog or social media posts. You can earn money when someone clicks on the link and buys something. Most of the time, it doesn’t even have to be that particular product or service, as long as it’s a purchase. A good example of a common affiliate is becoming an Amazon associate, you recommend a product, and if they buy anything within 24 hours, you get a commission. This can be great around Christmas time. 3. Writing for others

Advertise your services as a freelance writer on sites like Upwork and Fiverr. Don’t neglect LinkedIn either, state you are available work and make sure your skills are up to date. I get contacted directly too, and if you do a good job, word of mouth will work for you too.

4. Making videos

I know I said you didn’t have to do a video, but can you turn your passion for baking or crafts into videos that will be super shareable? You only have to share your hands at the most and you can have a viral video. With the rise of text-to-speech, you don’t have to record your own voice on it.

5. Make digital downloads

You can offer digital products for sale directly from your blog, or by opening an Etsy or Creation store. If you’re already designing graphics for your blog or social media, experiment with making digital downloads and see what sells well.
